Our Buff Lashes Cysteamine Glueless System has been specifically and meticulously formulated for use with Glueless and Korean Lash Lifting techniques. The key consideration was to create a product with the perfect consistency. This system contains the same ingredients as the original Buff Browz Cysteamine System but features a slightly higher concentration of Cysteamine, allowing for faster processing times and improved treatment efficiency. Its thicker, creamier consistency provides superior control and precision, making the application process smoother, easier, and more refined for the professional artist.

The new Korean Lash Lifting system contains the same ingredients as the original Buff Browz Cysteamine System, but features a slightly higher concentration of Cysteamine, allowing for faster processing times and improved treatment efficiency. Its thicker, creamier consistency provides superior control and precision, making the application process smoother, easier, and more refined for the use of Korean/Glueless Lash Lifting.

Buff Browz Cysteamine

  • Universal for both eyebrows and eyelashes
  • Lower viscosity for both Step 1 and Step 2 for pliability of products (moves and spreads easily
  • The use of increased amounts of Pink Powder to raise the viscosity of Steps 1 and 2 for Korean lash lifting can dilute the active formulation, which may reduce processing efficiency and lead to longer processing times.

Buff Lashes Korean Cysteamine

  • Specifically designed for the use of Korean/Glueless Lash Lifting
  • Increasing the viscosity of both Steps 1 and 2 creates a thicker formulation that provides a stronger, more controlled hold on the lashes, helping to weigh and set them more effectively. Because a thicker formula requires less Pink Powder, there is less dilution of the active ingredients, which helps maintain formulation strength and can contribute to faster, more efficient processing times.

If you have previously patch tested with the original Buff Browz Cysteamine system, you do not need to re-patch test your clients with the new Korean Lash Lifting system.

Timings

When it comes to lash lifting, understanding your client’s lash type is crucial. It takes experience to successfully assess the different lash types and, therefore, what timings to use.

Using Manufacturer Timings as a Guideline:

While manufacturer timings offer a great starting point, they are not a one-size-fits-all solution. As a trained artist, you must observe and respond to how the lashes are reacting in real time.

Visual cues over timers:

Developing this skill will elevate your artistry, reduce risk, and ensure every treatment is fully personalised for optimal results.

Understanding Processing Times and Real-Time Assessment

Processing times will vary from client to client. This variation depends on factors such as:

  • Lash thickness, density, and porosity
  • The client's natural growth pattern
  • The results they wish to achieve

Gone are the days of passive processing. Active assessment is essential to achieve safe, effective, and consistent results.

How to Visually Assess Lash Processing During Step 1

The most effective way to assess the breakdown of disulphide bonds is through a gentle bend test using a pointed tweezer:

  • Select a lash midway along the length.
  • Gently bend the lash downwards.

What to look for:

  • If the lash forms a "U" shape, it is under-processed and requires more time.
  • If the lash bends into a "V" shape with a clear kink, it indicates that the disulphide bonds have broken down sufficiently, and the lash is ready for the next step.

Guided Timings for Lash Lifting:

FINE LASHES: 8-10 MINUTES

NORMAL LASHES: 10-12 MINUTES

COURSE LASHES: 12-14 MINUTES

The timings will differ if a film is applied.

An upgrade for lashes, with the cysteamine system thicker than the original consistency making it easier to work with. I found I still needed to add a tiny bit of powder to get the lashes up onto the flat shield, but a big improvement to usual, my new fav lifing product!!

Great product although not as quick as some others on the market. Also wish the packaging/lid was better on step one! Has the same issue with the black lifting system with it not staying on tight so air gets in and will make it go off quicker
