Choosing the right brow lamination or lash lifting system starts with understanding the hair in front of you. Not every client has the same hair type, so using the same system for every treatment won’t always give you the best result.
Before you begin, assess the hair’s thickness, strength, condition, and resistance.
Fine Hair
Fine hair generally feels soft, lightweight and easy to manipulate and will often process relatively quickly. For fine or more delicate hair, consider choosing a gentler or slower-processing system, such as the TGA Lite or the Buff Browz Cysteamine system. These systems can provide a more controlled processing window, allowing you to closely monitor how the hair responds while minimising the risk of unnecessary overprocessing.
Normal Hair
Normal hair generally has good strength with moderate resistance and flexibility. These clients are usually suitable for a variety of systems, giving you more freedom to choose based on your preferred technique and the result you want to achieve. You could opt for the TGA Lite system if you prefer to work more slowly, or the TGA Dual system if you are confident with your timings. The Buff Browz Cysteamine system is also a great option when tolerated well by the skin, especially if the hair has previously been chemically treated.

Coarse or Resistant Hair
Coarse hair generally feels thicker, stronger and more resistant to movement and may take longer to soften sufficiently. A stronger or faster-acting system, such as the TGA Dual system, can be an excellent choice for coarse, stubborn, or resistant hair when you need more effective reduction. The Buff Browz Cysteamine system is also considered a great candidate. For coarser hair types, the Buff Browz Brow Guard is a great tool to use to speed up the processing time.

Conclusión
There isn’t one “best” lamination system for every client.
Fine or delicate hair may benefit from a gentler, more controlled system, while coarse and resistant hair may require a stronger or more efficient system.
The more systems you understand, the easier it becomes to adapt your treatments rather than expecting one product to work identically on every client.
Assess the hair first. Choose your system second.
